little services rendered

Little Services Rendered (LSR) is a program started up by our very own alumnae sister Hannah Pacholl. LSR focuses on community outreach and increasing volunteer efforts in our local Jacksonville community. This past year, sisters volunteered with Second Harvest, the Daniel Foundation, Clara White Mission, the Jacksonville Humane Society, Habitat for Humanity and various soup kitchens.

Locally

Locally the Theta Sigma Chapter supports the Hubbard House. The Hubbard House provides shelter and outreach services for domestic violence victims and their families. Along with making monthly visits and donations to the Hubbard House, we host annual fundraisers to continue our support. We have organized a variety of Philanthropy events such as Bubble Ball Soccer Tournaments, Lyre Games, Filmanthropy, and for the Fall 2019 semester we are hosting our first Glow in the Dark Golf Tournament. In these efforts, not only do we raise money and awareness for our cause, we also engage our community on campus through their involvement in spreading the word and participating in our endeavors. We also team up with the Women's Center on campus to co-host events such as Take Back the Night, the most attended Philanthropy event at UNF.

Nationally

Alpha Chi Omega believes in the development of members in their cultural appreciation, social awareness, and personal presentation. To increase cultural appreciation, we take semesterly trips to various museums in Jacksonville, this is also a fun way for us to show our appreciation for being founded on the fine arts.
